KUALA LUMPUR – A massive traffic jam stretching 5-6km from Jalan Yew to Jalan Tun Razak this afternoon was caused by a trailer having problems with its brakes.

The trailer broke down in front of the Tun Razak Exchange, blocking traffic on all four lanes heading to the RHB building in Jalan Tun Razak.

City Hall said the trailer has been towed to a safe location and all traffic lanes have been reopened 4.30pm onwards. 

According to reports, the authorities diverted traffic to Jalan Bukit Bintang via the Kg Pandan roundabout.
