KUALA LUMPUR – Police are taking action to track down and identify the driver of a white Perodua Myvi who went viral on social media earlier today for reckless driving.

In a statement, Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Chief ACP Sarifudin Mohd Salleh has called for the owner of the dashcam capturing the incident to come forward.

“The Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department, Kuala Lumpur has taken the step to identify the owner and driver of the vehicle involved.

“We request the victim (owner of the dashcam video) and other witnesses to come forward to the Tun H.S. Lee Traffic Police Station to assist in the investigation,” said Sarifudin.

The 27-second video went viral on the Inforoadblock Facebook page, where a white Myvi with a Penang licence plate was seen driving in a provocative, reckless and dangerous manner.
