KOTA KINABALU – Despite speculation over the postponement of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah’s (GRS) launch, coalition chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Md Noor said it is just the case of picking the right time.

The GRS launch slated for today has been rescheduled to Saturday.

“There is no reason for the postponement. But we only decided to pick a more suitable time,” he said when met at the Sawit Kinabalu Hari Raya celebrations here yesterday.

Earlier this month, Hajiji said GRS would be officially launched on May 26 at the Sabah International Convention Centre here after announcing the inclusion of Usno into the state’s ruling alliance.

The coalition, meanwhile, decided to not accept the applications from Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat, Liberal Democratic Party and Parti Cinta Sabah yet.

But Hajiji said the parties will be invited to all GRS programmes in the future as a part of “getting to know each other better”. – The Vibes, May 26, 2022
