KUALA LUMPUR – Former PKR senator Siti Aishah Shaik Ismail will be summoned by Bukit Aman again after the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations over her TikTok video that had her criticising the government over the removal of subsidies over some food items.

She said she was initially told to give a statement at Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) tomorrow, but she requested for another date after the Hari Raya celebrations.

“They agreed in principle, and they will confirm a new date later,” she told Free Malaysia Today.

“I’m confident I’m on the right side. The people are with me.”

Siti Aishah on June 27 was visited by about nine officers from the Ipoh CID and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission at her residence between 1pm and 1.30pm.

She said in a statement that she was escorted to the police headquarters by three cars and was at the station for three hours.
