LABUAN – Sabah PKR yesterday unveiled the party’s new leadership line-up with all 13 top posts taken up by fresh faces.

Newly appointed Sabah PKR secretary Simsudin Sidek said the new chairman replacing Datuk Christina Liew is former academician Datuk Sangkar Rasam – who is also Keningau PKR chief.

“Sangkar’s appointment was announced during a meeting between Sabah PKR division leaders and (party president) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on August 6. Liew remains as Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman to lead the state PH election machinery in the 15th general election,” said the Labuan PKR chief.

Kota Marudu PKR chief Sazalye Donol Abdullah is now deputy chairman; while Inanam assemblyman Peto Galim – who is Sepanggar PKR chief – is now vice-chairman I; and Joseph Alex Chang (Penampang chief) and Romansa Lamin (Silam chief) are now vice-chairman II and III respectively.

Labuan Wanita PKR head Noriha Yakub will lead the women’s wing in the state with Datin Rufina Pangeran as her deputy, while Zaidi Jatil will head the youth wing in the state with Remysta Jimmy Tailor as deputy head.
