SEREMBAN – A total of 5,379 civil servants under the Negri Sembilan state administration will receive a special financial aid of half-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000 at the latest by the second week of January 2021.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun announced the matter when tabling the state's 2021 Budget, saying it was in appreciation of the efforts of civil servants in ensuring the state administration continues to operate despite ongoing challenges.
“As a token of appreciation and thank you to civil servants for serving the government and people, the financial aid is given to all civil servants under the state administration.
“It is with hope the special financial aid would further motivate civil servants to help stimulate the local economy,” he said in the Third Meeting of the Third Term of the 14th Negri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly sitting today.
The Negri Sembilan government today tabled a budget themed ‘Stimulating the Economy, Empowering the People’ encompassing four strategies and eight focus areas, with an allocation of RM560 million compared to RM457 million in budget 2020.
In this regard, he said the “no-interest” computer and vehicle loan assistance would continue for eligible civil servants. – Bernama, November 27, 2020
