Perlis swears in six new excos

ARAU – Six members of the Perlis assembly today took their oaths as executive councillors before Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail at Istana Arau here.

They are four assemblymen from PAS and two from Bersatu who have been approved by the Perlis royal.

Also present was Raja Muda Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail.

The new executive councillors then signed letters of appointment witnessed by the chief judge of Kangar High Court Arik Sanusi Yeop Johari and state shariah chief judge Jaidi Ahmad.

On Tuesday, Sanglang assemblyman Mohd Shukri Ramli took the oath of office as the new Perlis menteri besar before Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin.

Perikatan Nasional (PN) succeeded in forming the state government after winning 14 out of 15 state seats in the 15th general election, in addition to sweeping all three of the state’s parliamentary seats, namely Padang Besar, Arau, and Kangar. – Bernama, November 25, 2022

2.Fakhrul Anwar Ismail (PN-PAS): Bintong
3.Izizam Ibrahim (PN-Bersatu): Titi Tinggi
4.Megat Hashirat Hassan (PN-Bersatu): Pauh
5.Wan Badariah Wan Saad (PN-PAS): Mata Ayer
6.Razali Saad (PN-PAS): Simpang Empat
