Zulfadzli was released from police custody this morning and was greeted by a crowd of supporters around 9.48am outside the Dang Wangi district police headquarters here. He had posted a video on TikTok that exposed its users for allegedly exploiting the May 13 incident as a political tool to spread propaganda.

KUALA LUMPUR – It will be up to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) if further action will be taken against Zulfadzli, popularly known on Twitter as @bumilangit, after police have handed in the investigation paper.

In a brief statement, PDRM secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said that the Classified Criminal Investigation Unit will refer the investigation paper to the AGC as provided in Article 145(3) of the federal constitution. 

She added that the three-day remand ended today.

He had posted a video on TikTok that exposed its users for allegedly exploiting the May 13 incident as a political tool to spread propaganda.

Several politicians, including Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh, Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, and PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar, have spoken out against Zulfadzli’s arrest.

The 39-year-old man was detained to facilitate an investigation in accordance with Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948 and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. – The Vibes, November 26, 2022
