KUALA LUMPUR – Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan has called on Tioman and Padang Serai voters to severely punish Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s “broken government” by rejecting the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the by-elections.

Wan Saiful called the new cabinet “morally bankrupt”, as it includes the court cluster, which he labelled as greedy, while accusing Anwar of “pawning anything for power”.

“This cabinet line-up is an attempt to make a fool of the people,” said the Bersatu information chief in a statement.

“They have given a clear message on wanting a political leadership and national administration that puts the interest of people first, raises moral values, and has accountability to overcome personal interest.

“Instead, morals, principles, integrity, and accountability are discarded for power.”

He said he “pitied” the PH voters as Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi remains in the cabinet, and Umno-BN voters as their voices were sold out by Zahid to save himself.

Wan Saiful then reiterated that his coalition, Perikatan Nasional, is the only hope for Malaysians, with its “clean, stable, fresh, and integrity” slogan. – The Vibes, December 2, 2022
