KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning that is expected to occur in Terengganu and Kelantan from Wednesday to Friday (December 7 to 9).

It said in a statement today that continuous heavy rain was expected to occur in Terengganu and several districts in Kelantan, namely Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai.

An alert-level continuous rain warning is issued when there are signs that rain and thunderstorms are happening or expected to occur for more than six hours during a period in certain areas. – Bernama, December 5, 2022
