KUALA LUMPUR – Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has claimed that he was barred from attending any federal government events, including the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (Lima) expected to be held in May.

In a brief Facebook post, Sanusi said the decision was made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s cabinet.

However, he did not elaborate on the purported decision.

“PMX’s (Anwar) cabinet’s new decision - Barred MB Kedah in any federal government occations (sic) including Lima in Langkawi...what to do?

“If you panaih (annoyed), please don’t koyak (please don’t be offended),” he said.

After a four-year hiatus, Lima is expected to be held from May 23 to 27.
