KUALA LUMPUR – A video, which is making the rounds on social media, showed a shivering security guard in a state of shock after claiming to have seen a ghost.

The 35-second clip uploaded on Twitter by user @azwant showed the security guard repeating the word “hantu” on the first night of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The security guard, understood to be a Nepali national, was approached by a few individuals who attempted to calm him down.

One individual who recorded the interaction can be heard telling the security guard, “Where is this the ghost? There is no ghost”.

The location where the incident took place could not be determined.

However, netizens who viewed the video sympathised with the security guard and expressed hope that the individual is feeling better after the incident.

“If one day I’m in this situation, I hope someone will just hug me and make me feel safe,” said user @ilhammazalan.

“What a pity, he must be traumatised. I would beat the sh*t out of these ghosts who disturbed people if it tried to mess with me,” posted user @megiayampawer.

“It’s a pity because he fainted due to the trauma. He hasn’t met my friends, they have scarier behaviour,” @NaimNawrouz tweeted.
