SG PETANI – Law enforcement agencies should take the necessary action against Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor despite his earlier apology, said Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The deputy prime minister said this was necessary as the Kedah menteri besar’s statements involved race and royalty.

“Police have repeatedly stressed that all parties must refrain from touching on the 3Rs,” he said after launching the Kedah Barisan Nasional and Umno state election machinery, here today.

Earlier today, Sanusi apologised to Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah over his statement regarding the appointment of the Selangor menteri besar.
