KELANTAN – Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa conducted a surprise visit to Pasir Mas Hospital today following complaints that patients had to wait hours to receive treatment.

There were also issues related to overcrowding and others highlighted in social media.

“I was able to see firsthand the situation at the hospital and identify the problems.

“Following my visit during which I gathered the needed input, I will meet with the relevant units in my ministry and Kelantan Health Department to find a solution,” she said.

During her visit, the minister spent time speaking to and listening to both hospital staff and the patients there.

“We will take action to ensure the best health services for the people without also compromising the well-being of the hospital staff,” added Dr Zaliha. – The Vibes, July 31, 2023
