PETALING JAYA – Drawing an analogy from popular science fiction action film franchise Transformers, controversial Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor today said a leader does not fight alone but as a team.

“As a leader, we must have confidence in our team, as each (member) has their own strengths,” he said referring to Optimus Prime, the leader of the Transformers.

Sanusi said Optimus Prime does not just give out instructions and expect his team to do all the fighting.

“Instead, he goes down to battle with the team,” he said in a Facebook post accompanying a picture of him posing with several individuals in Transformers getup, including the characters of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

“Megatron (the villain in Transformers) will never stop trying to conquer Kedah, but Optimus Prime will not allow that…right?”

Earlier, Sanusi said many grew up watching Transformers.

“I also watched it here and there. I know who Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are.

“Optimus looks stern, while the car version of Bumblebee looks smart,” he said. – The Vibes, August 29, 2023
