BENTONG – Datuk Amizar Abu Adam, Bentong Umno committee member, is the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Pelangai state by-election on October 7.

Pahang BN chairman Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail made the announcement here today.

“We as party members need to help our friend (Amizar) to win in Pelangai.

“There are 3,040 Umno members in Pelangai, so I hope party members will work hard, can get at least 90% of our members out to vote. 

“Please continue to give support so that our candidate will win big,” he said.

Also present were Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon and MIC vice-president Datuk M. Asojan. – Bernama, September 20, 2023
