PRIYANKA Bajpai is a regional consultant to many international healthcare organisations. Based on her years of working in this region she highlights a few key areas that need to be improved. 

No longer do patients simply walk into a clinic and believe everything a healthcare professional sitting across the table espouses. 

Google and the information available at one’s fingertips have changed all this. However, has healthcare changed enough to bridge this? 

National systems and private organisations both need to change the way they engage with patients and the public as we head towards wellness and an informed public.
