EVEN though we are 5,891km away from Qatar, the World Cup spirit surely has made its way to everyone, including us here at The Vibes.

Needing an outlet to talk football, The Vibes Sportsdesk starts its Football Vibes series. We speak to colleagues, first-time football watchers, and die-hard football fans. Guests spill their thoughts on the World Cup and everything football.

But let’s make one thing clear, we are not football pundits or former stars, we like talking about football because we love the game.

In this first episode, we go from asking the basic questions any newcomer to the sport would ask, to what it takes to host the World Cup (and what happens if you don’t do well when you host it), to this year’s World Cup matches taking place in Doha, Qatar.
