AS we start a new year, are we advancing as a nation and are starting to accept mental health is a bona fide issue with our citizens?

Professor Amer Siddiq is well known both locally and internationally for his work on mental health, and speaks to Healthcare Today with Manvir Victor about how we are tackling this issue here.

As we unpack a topic that has gained more global recognition thanks to the pandemic, we look at what we as citizens can do to both recognise and help those in need.

Our very own workplaces are great places to start as many of us spend at least 1/3 of our lives at work.

What are the tell tale signs we can look out for, how and when can we reach out for some much needed help.

DM me on Twitter @manvirvictor for more information and comments you may have about this topic, especially if you are triggered by any of the discussion points. – The Vibes, December 28, 2022
