Being a Virgo, aligning things come naturally to me. Imagine, if I have penned in an activity on my schedule and it doesn’t happen as planned, I go ape. That contributes to my anxiety so my mom is always telling me to chill and just let things happen. Or not.
It's ok, sometimes things don’t go your way and you just need to let go. I wish I can say the same about our body though, the integration of our body parts plays an important role in making our body as amazing as it’s supposed to be which means if one muscle or one joint or one bone is disturbed, the whole system gets disrupted.
In this week’s video, I will be sharing my “go-to” poses and stretches if I feel like something is not aligned, resulting in things like pulls, snaps, tears or aches in my joints. Before any yoga practice or even before I run or go to the gym, I would do a few rounds of these stretches to align my body in order to get the full benefits from my next activity.
These stretches can be done on its own as a day starter too. It takes less than 15 mins so let’s give it a try. Remember the breathing exercises we did last week? Try marrying that with the stretches and you will feel like Hellstar my number 1 betta (shhhh don't tell the rest). I promise! – The Vibes, October 7, 2020
