So I went swimming last Thursday after such a long time thinking that its gonna help me with my breathing with this Dangdut song I have to sing at a DBKL concert next week.
Well, someone got overly excited and pretended she was a Russian synchronized swimmer and went overboard with the underwater flips. My right ear was blocked with water and wax and my friends got excited and brought the baby lightsaber looking ear digger. Hahahaha.
Actually, I got excited myself seeing my friends pretending to be ENT specialists. Yup. Right ear started to bleed. I was right-ear deaf for 4 days. I was talking so loudly and singing horribly. I lost balance and my awareness and attention were haywire. I have planned to write about attention, focus, awareness or Drishti this week and how apt a condition for me to be in to do just that.
Knowing exactly where we want to go in life and being focused and aware translate to being stable on your mat without being wobbly and uncertain resulting in a wimpy asana or pose. Whatever we do in life, we have to be solid and rooted. In this week’s video, I will be sharing tips on how to go into a tree pose and a dancer pose with ease by setting a focus point and being aware. – The Vibes, October 14, 2020
