KUALA LUMPUR – The nation’s top badminton player Lee Zii Jia will be leading the contingent in the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships next month.
In a statement from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) today, Zii Jia will be the country’s first singles, followed by shuttlers Ng Tze Yong, Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin, Leong Jun Hao, Lim Chong King and Jacky Kok Jing Hong.
Meanwhile, the doubles category will be represented by Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun.
The women’s singles team comprises Eoon Qi Xuan, S. Kisona, Tan Zhing Yi, Siti Nurshuhaini Azman, and Myisha Mohd Khairul.
The women’s doubles pairings consist of Pearly Tan-M Thinaah, Teoh Mei Xing-Anna Cheong, Valeree Siow-Low Yeen Yuan and Goh Pei Kee.
However, Goh Jin Wei was not mentioned in the line-up for the upcoming tournament.
The 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships is scheduled to take place at the Setia City Convention Centre from February 15 to 20. – The Vibes, January 29, 2022.
