KUALA LUMPUR – Constructive criticism is helpful when it provides specific and actionable suggestions; and as a leader of an organisation, you are always the target for criticism.
It is the same for the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) president Datuk Subahan Kamal, who is bound to be criticised by many parties and sometimes even his close affiliates.
Although Subahan is not someone who shies away from criticism, he strongly believes that it should be constructive to help improve and uplift Malaysian hockey.
There have been many criticisms thrown at Subahan since he took over as the president of MHC in 2015, which includes his involvement in the team selections. This is one of the many things Subahan and his team are accused of.
In a recent interview, Subahan answers The Vibes on how he manages these criticisms as a leader of a National Sports Association.
