ALOR STAR – PDRM FC head coach Azzmi Aziz did not consider his team’s surprise victory over Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDA FC) in at the Darul Aman Stadium, last night was a mission impossible.

PDRM beat the KDA FC 1-0 through Bruno Suzuki’s goal in the 74th minute.

Instead, the 47-year-old said his team came to Alor Star well-prepared and with a plan to get full points.

“We admit it is not easy to win in Alor Star but we were determined to get the points.

“We had analysed Kedah’s game with Terengganu (which Kedah won). It helped us to contain their attack and Alhamdulillah, our plan worked,” he said

Meanwhile, KDA FC assistant head coach Victor Andrag said his players’ rush to score caused their play to be disorganised.

He also acknowledged that the two red cards issued to the captain and head coach had an impact on the team and hoped that it would be a lesson in their next matches.

“Yes we lost this time but I hope we don’t lose hope because the journey is still a long way to go, so we have to bounce back in our next game,” said Andrag. – Bernama, March 5, 2023
