THE demand for food aid has increased by 30% since January, data from The Lost Food Project show. Founded in 2016, the organisation, fights hunger and climate change by working to reduce food waste. It distributes surplus food and items that would usually end up in the landfills to more than 80 charities and thousands of poor families. – May 7, 2024.
