JOHOR BARU – Harley-Davidson plans to expand its motorcycle business operations here in the second quarter of next year.

According to a post on Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s Facebook page, Juan Chow Wee, the general manager of Harley-Davidson’s exclusive distributor in Malaysia, Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, was granted an audience at Istana Flintstones near Mersing yesterday.

At the meeting, Juan presented his business plan, namely the 3S – Harley-Davidson sales, service and spare parts – centre, which will be located in Jalan Stulang Laut here next year.

Sultan Ibrahim said the expansion demonstrates the company’s confidence in the potential of Johor’s economic development.

“In the current situation, they have still managed to expand here, and have a strong brand following.

“Jalan Stulang Laut is a prime focus area, and I hope they can also maintain the service quality and sustain business operations, which will contribute to the Johor economy.” – Bernama, December 31, 2020
