Fuel prices up across the board

KUALA LUMPUR – The retail prices for fuel begins on a high note in 2021 as the rates for RON95 and RON97 petrol, will go up by 4 sen per litre for a week starting midnight tonight.

While, the retail price for diesel will go up by 3 sen during the same period between January 2 and 8.

In a statement today, the Finance Ministry said based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) for retail petroleum products, the new prices per litre are RM1.84 for RON95, RON97 (RM2.14) and diesel (RM2.01).

The government will continue monitoring the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people, it added. – The Vibes, January 1, 2021
