KUALA LUMPUR – After 14 eventful years, the eCurve shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, will undergo redevelopment to evolve, rejuvenate and return stronger.

Boustead Properties Bhd (BPB), which operates the mall through its subsidiary Damansara Entertainment Centre Sdn Bhd, said the redevelopment is aligned with the group’s aspiration of “Reinventing Boustead”.

In a statement, the company said the move is timely and will see eCurve adapting to how society, lifestyles and technologies are changing.

“Through the urban rejuvenation, we envision an enhanced generational liveability surrounding Mutiara Damansara, with a thriving community and ecosystem stemming from the unleashed offerings under the redevelopment,” said BPB, which is the master developer of the Mutiara Damansara township.

However, the redevelopment plan does not involve main shopping centre the Curve, which will continue to operate as usual, it said.

Outlets at eCurve will remain open until the end of the month, it added.

“BPB has taken proactive steps to engage tenants and relocate selected tenants to the Curve, to bring the same joy and experience that are synonymous with the brand.” – Bernama, March 2, 2021
