ROBO.ai Inc. expects shareholders’ equity to move into positive territory after completing a series of disposals, acquisitions and corporate restructuring in the first half of the year.

The Nasdaq-listed company, which trades under the ticker AIIO, said it will release its unaudited financial results for the six months ended June 30 on Aug 24.

Robo.ai said the disposal of its legacy business removed most of the liabilities carried over from its previous operations, forming part of efforts to reshape the company and strengthen its balance sheet.

The company has since completed the acquisition of Neurovia AI, through which it obtained exclusive rights to artificial intelligence data processing and compression technologies.

The technology is being tested for possible applications in public safety, transportation, energy and municipal services, with Neurovia’s team working with customers on projects and products.

Robo.ai also completed the acquisition of Quantum Core Capital, a deep-technology investment and venture-building platform. Its operating businesses are expected to gradually begin operations in the UAE.

Another part of the restructuring was the establishment of Alif Holding, an industrial group focused on technology infrastructure, new technologies and materials for government, public sector and other critical applications.

Former INTERPOL president Dr Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi was appointed chairman of Alif Holding, while former UAE Ministry of Interior senior official Dr Jasem Al-Mansory was named chief executive officer.

Robo.ai chief executive Benjamin Zhai said the company would spend the second half of the year integrating the newly acquired businesses, developing its technologies and expanding its supply chain.

The company, however, cautioned investors against using its upcoming results as a direct comparison with the same period last year.

It said the changes to its business during the first half meant revenue for the six months ended June 30 largely reflected a company in transition, rather than its normal level of ongoing revenue.

Further details on the restructuring, acquisitions and the company’s outlook are expected when Robo.ai files its unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 6-K on Aug 24. - August 21, 2026
