KUALA LUMPUR – My E.G. Services Bhd (MYEG) has posted a net profit of RM268.16 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2020 (FY20).

Revenue amounted to RM532.06 million, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The group’s financial year end was changed from September 30 to December 31, and as such, there is no comparative financial information available for FY19.

The electronic government services provider said the contribution of revenue for FY20 is primarily attributable to concession-related services, such as those to do with the Immigration and Road Transport Departments.

MYEG said the introduction of new services, such as Covid-19 screening, quarantine for inbound travellers under MySafeTravel, and online sale of groceries, also contributed to its revenue last year.

It said it will continue to introduce innovative services leveraging new technology, as well as its presence in Asia, to drive organic growth for FY21. – Bernama, March 3, 2021
