KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has appointed Sarazin Sheikh Mustafa as director of risk management and compliance.

MDEC chairman Datuk Rais Hussin Mohamed Ariff said she had established herself as a risk management specialist leader and would spearhead the risk management and mitigation unit towards innovative solutions.

“(This will enable) MDEC to continue to lead the digital economy forward, ensuring that we are on track towards realising the potential and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Malaysia 5.0,” he said in a statement today.

Prior to joining MDEC, Sarazin was head and vice-president of enterprise risk management and business continuity management at Bank Simpanan Nasional, leading the engagement and enhancement of relationship with regulators and other stakeholders. – Bernama, March 4, 2021
