STRANGER Things 4 is coming very soon. This news comes with an open letter to fans by series creators, the Duffer Brothers, who revealed when new episodes will debut on Netflix and more news about the future of the worldwide hit.

“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things,” creators Matt and Ross Duffer wrote in an open letter to fans. “At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four but – as you’ll see for yourselves – we are now hurtling toward our finale.”

The fourth season of the Netflix hit sci-fi drama will be released in two volumes, with Volume 1 dropping on May 27 and Volume 2 on July 1. The letter also confirmed that Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last, completing the story arc the Duffer Brothers intended for the people of Hawkins and beyond, as well as the mysterious Upside Down.

While the series was never intended to be long running, various delays (including the pandemic) has meant that it will be three years in between seasons three and four. Shooting for the final season has not yet begun and there is not yet a tentative release date. – The Vibes, February 18, 2022
