Parents demand investigation after faeces found in child's backpack
"This is an early sign of bullying, and if not prevented, will definitely get worse," said a netizen - November 18, 2025

A TEACHER has expressed regret over a parent's plea to take action to detect the perpetrators of an incident involving the discovery of faeces in a student's school bag.

"Clumps of faeces were found in the child's school bag. The mother asked the teacher to investigate who was responsible."

"Like as if teachers don't have other work, right? We even must look into whose faeces it was," the teacher said in a post on Threads.

The incident has drawn various reactions from netizens, including many asking the teacher to immediately investigate the matter because it may involve bullying at school.

"If students throw their poop in their friends' bags ... this is an early sign of bullying, and if not prevented, will definitely get worse," said Fitri.

“For me, it should be the teacher’s job, because the teacher is at school and the incident happened at school. Parents have already fulfilled their responsibility of checking their children’s bags after they come back from school, so whatever happens at school, including such cases, the teacher must be responsible for investigating,” said Norhim.

“It is only right that the mother asks the teacher to help investigate. Don’t expect the mother to go to school herself to look into the matter.

“The other day, my son came home with wet pants, so I asked him about it. He said the pants fell on the floor while changing clothes.

“Okay. Sometimes it’s a small thing for us, but it can have a big impact on others,” commented another netizen.

“Teachers like this are making the bullying culture worse because parents complain and teachers don’t care. Once it becomes a serious bullying case then they want to action,” said Syafiqah. – November 18, 2025
