PUTRAJAYA – The Higher Education Ministry (KPT) has extended the deadline for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) holders to apply via UPUOnline for admission to public tertiary and skills training institutes for the 2021/22 academic session.

The deadline was initially set for today, but the KPT has moved it to 5pm on July 2.

The KPT said the decision was in light of the constraints faced by school-leavers, including those awaiting a review of their 2020 SPM results by the Malaysian Examination Syndicate (LPM).

“The extension will allow them to update their application and choose a course via UPUOnline,” said KPT, adding that detailed information is available at upu.mohe.gov.my. – The Vibes, June 21, 2021
