KUALA LUMPUR – With the exception of secondary school students sitting 2020 major examinations that have been postponed due to Covid-19, all others are resuming online learning in the new school term.

The Education Ministry last Saturday confirmed the matter, saying pupils and students from Year 1 to Form 5 will take classes virtually in a bid to contain the virus threat.

The country’s teachers and students are no stranger to e-learning, having adopted the practice after schools were ordered shut last year in the first coronavirus wave.

The 2021 school term, which started yesterday, sees kids nationwide logging on from home.
