KUALA LUMPUR – Meet Cheryl, Aquaria KLCC’s resident sand tiger shark since May 2012.
Cheryl shares her home with 250 species of fish, as well as more than 5,000 land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world.
For example, there is Guinness the tawny nurse shark, Cruise the leopard shark, Bob the giant grouper, and Napoleon the humphead wrasse.
Feeding times are particularly popular with visitors as they get to see how divers interact with the animals.
However, there are only 400 tickets sold a day in adherence to current standard operating procedures. So, visitors are advised to book their tickets ahead of time.
