SEPANG – Engines roared at Sepang International Circuit from the 24th until the 26th of June as the second round of the Malaysia Championship Series came to town.
The series featuring touring car racing is a testing ground for young drivers and motorsports veterans like Malaysia’s former Formula One driver Alex Yoong.
The action in Race 1 on Saturday was non-stop with heavy rain causing a few cars to slide off track and into the barriers.
Race 2 on Sunday may be a dry one in terms of weather, but it was not dry in action with supreme racing and a few crash incidents.
The Vibes’ photographer Abdul Razak Latif was there to capture all of the action.
The racing will resume in August with Round 3. – The Vibes, June 28, 2023
