TIMOR Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta will launch a book on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's fight for global justice including his own struggles internally to seek freedom and justice within the system.

The book is authored by former PKR parliamentarian and senator Yusmadi Yusoff, who said the book is based on his close collaboration with Anwar as a former aide, and his up-close interaction with him.

“The book also touches on Anwar’s approach towards geo-politics and various other challenges he faced in his life.

“It gives the reader a clear perspective of what Anwar went through and how he found the strength and determination to make it to where he is today,” said Yusmaidi.

Ramos-Horta is also the first leader in the region to be conferred with a Nobel Peace Prize award.

Ramos-Horta is also Anwar’s friend, and it is a big honour for him to come to Malaysia to launch the book.

The book launching is at the Malaysian Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur and Anwar’s wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will also be present. - June 16, 2025.
