AUTOCITY Juru - developed solely for the world of automobiles received a shot in the arm when Carro, Asia Pacific’s largest online automotive marketplace established a branch there with the China e-vehicle model - Zeekr as its driving force.

The enclave, which is home to all major car brands, especially local household names such as Proton and Perodua, continues to reinvent itself as a preferred hub for car buyers and lovers in the northern region.

Located just 10 minutes from the Penang Bridge, it also boosts of entertainment, food and car maintenance outlets.

Carro has taken the front stretch of the car display outlets, opening its Zeekr showroom, sales and a maintenance workshop - a first for the China maker up north.

Another showroom was also launched at the Bangsar neighbourhood last week.

Customers visiting Juru Autocity can look forward to a Zeekr House offering 3S services (sales, service, spare parts) in an impressive space that spans over 1,200 square feet.

The new showrooms will house key Zeekr models such as the 009 and 7X.

Earlier Zeekr appointed Carro as its latest authorised dealer in Malaysia, and signed a memorandum of understanding at Carro’s flagship store in Puchong.

The partnership plan also includes four Zeekr showrooms and three Carro Care workshops powered by the distributor to support retail and maintenance efforts.

This collaboration with Zeekr marks yet another significant milestone for the automotive unicorn, as they expand to Brand New car sales.

Founded in 2015, Carro is Asia Pacific’s largest online used car marketplace.

Carro transforms the traditional way of buying and selling cars through proprietary pricing algorithms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) -enabled capabilities, and innovative technological solutions.

Carro most recently expanded its product line to include new cars in Singapore and Malaysia, offering customers more options. - September 2, 2025.
