SEREMBAN-based Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad recently signed an agreement with Alpro Group and Mercy Senior Care Centre Sdn. Bhd. to jointly establish and operate a skilled nursing care facility in Suria Heights, Bandar Sri Sendayan.

The ceremony was graced by Negeri Sembilan Exco for Women, Family & Community Affairs Committee Datuk Noorzunita Begum Mohd Ibrahim - reflecting the state’s commitment to expanding purpose-built healthcare facilities that meet evolving care needs across all generations.

This milestone collaboration marks a strategic advancement in enhancing Malaysia’s long-term and elderly care ecosystem.

Situated within Matrix Concepts’ Bandar Sri Sendayan township – Suria Heights, the upcoming facility will feature more than 130 beds and provide specialised nursing care for individuals requiring clinical support, rehabilitation, and post-hospital recovery. Designed as a Ministry of Health registered nursing care facility, it will focus on post-surgery rehabilitation, long-term bedridden care, accident recovery, and continuous medical supervision.

“Many families are left searching for reliable post-discharge and long-term care, and we believe it is our responsibility to change that,” said Dr. Ng Ming Lee, Medical Director, Alpro Clinic.

Alpro Clinic is a subsidiary of Alpro Group, operating as a network of family doctor clinics who provide continuous, personalized medical care for patients of all age.

Kelvin Lee, Group Executive Director of Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad meanwhile said, “As Matrix Concepts moves towards its 30th anniversary, we remain committed to shaping townships that uplift every stage of life.

“This initiative reflects our aspiration to build places where families can thrive and seniors can age gracefully with access to professional care and a nurturing environment.”

With an estimated 120,000 residents already calling Bandar Sri Sendayan home, Matrix Concepts continues to enrich the township with essential amenities that enhance health, well-being, and long-term liveability, he added.

Low Chee Moi, Managing Director, Mercy Senior Care Centre said together, they are strengthening the future of senior care and medically complex patients by combining clinical expertise, operational excellence, and a shared commitment to compassionate service.

“This collaboration marks an important step forward in expanding accessible, high-quality care for our community’s aging population.” – December 12, 2025
