NUR Sajat is seriously slashing the price of her bungalow in Kota Damansara, according to a story she recently posted on her Instagram page.
Having called Australia her home for the past year after being granted asylum there, Nur Sajat is cutting the RM2.5 million off her initial request of RM9.5 million for the double-storey bungalow after it failed to garner any attention on the market.
The cosmetics entrepreneur initially put the bungalow on sale in February.
“I am currently selling the bungalow at a year-end discount price of RM7 million. It is also available for rent at RM23,000 per month. Prices are still negotiable.
“For interested buyers, they will provide free lawyers and bank loan stamp duty to ensure the smooth process of the transaction,” Sajat said on her social media post.
According to New Straits Times, Sajat bought the bungalow from Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman, a fellow cosmetics entrepreneur in 2017 for RM7.5 million.
The transgender entrepreneur officially changed her gender to be recognised as a woman back in February.
In October last year, Sajat was granted asylum status by Australia following alleged persecution by local authorities over her gender status.
In late November, the Kuala Lumpur High Court granted a writ of seizure to OWA Resources Sdn Bhd against Sajat’s properties after she had apparently failed to pay some RM200,000 in damages to the company.
In February, police said Sajat was being sought to assist a probe into alleged fraud involving a change of identity card information.
Later that month, Sajat officially changed her gender to be recognised as a woman in Australia. – The Vibes, November 2, 2022
