L’ORÉAL Malaysia hosted its first corporate showcase today and reiterated its role in bringing beauty that is inclusive, empowering and responsible.

The beauty company believes in and advocates for beauty to be inclusive, diverse, empowering, and responsible, it said in a statement.

It does so by bringing positive changes to individuals, communities, and the environment through company-wide and brand initiatives.

L’Oréal Malaysia managing director Tomas Hruska said, “Our purpose is to create the beauty that moves the world because beauty is both an essential human need and an inclusive force."

He added that the company creates beauty that is dynamic and beneficial through diversity and inclusion, women empowerment, responsibility and innovation.

"We have been doing so for over 20 years in Malaysia, and we remain as committed to effecting more meaningful changes moving forward,” said Hruska.

L’Oréal has underlined its commitment to several initiatives.

L’Oréal for the Future highlights the group’s sustainability ambitions for 2030. In light of environmental and social challenges, L’Oréal is moving towards a model respecting planetary boundaries. It is also reinforcing its commitments to both sustainability and inclusion.

All of L’Oréal’s brands aspire to make positive changes in the areas of sustainability, women empowerment, and social issues.

In Malaysia, these 12 brands have embarked on this journey: L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, L’Oréal Paris, La Roche Posay, Garnier, Maybelline New York, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, Armani Beauty, Kiehl's, shu uemura, IT Cosmetics, and Kérastase.

The L’Oréal Fondation supports and empowers women to shape their future and make a difference in society.

Beauty for a Better Life equips underprivileged women with hairdressing and beauty skills to help transform their lives.
