Her husband, Abdul Azim Mohd Yasin was charged under section 9 of the same act for being aware of her possession of the gun.

The alleged offences took place on March 29 in Kampung Bukit Belimbing, Kuala Selangor.

Both pleaded not guilty. If convicted, they could each face up to 14 years in prison and whipping.

It was reported that the police had arrested 16 people as part of their investigations into the case. – April 11, 2024.
