A WOMAN who was on her way back to Kuala Lumpur after spending her Hari Raya holidays recently helped a mother struggling to transport her three children on a motorcycle, earning her praise on social media.

Taking to Instagram, the woman, Anis Afiqah, documented her encounter with the family of four at a petrol station.

The family were planning to head back to the city from Perak.

“Initially, I planned to offer them financial assistance. However, upon realising the severity of their situation, I decided to go a step further and offered to take the children in my car, providing them with a much-needed respite from the grueling journey,” said Anis on Instagram.

Anis drove the children back home, covering a distance of 60km.

“While the eldest child quietly settled into the backseat, the youngest, overwhelmed by fear, remained with his mother on the motorcycle,” said Anis.

According to Anis, who sells hijab as a businesswoman, the incident took place around 3pm on April 11.

The viral video has since garnered thousands of views on Instagram as well as TikTok.

Many users praised Anis for her kindness with some going as far as extending prayers to the woman for her act. – April 17, 2024.
