TWO POLICEMAN were killed by a knife-wielding masked man at the Ulu Tiram police station in Johor this morning.

The suspect was shot dead.

Johor police chief M. Kumar said the attack occurred around 3am today.

The attacked, who was dressed in dark clothing, stormed into the police station brandishing a machete.

The man is believed to have wounded two policemen on duty before he seized their guns and shot at an officer on duty. He also slashed at another cop.

New Straits Times reported that Constable Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar was cut in the neck and head and Constable Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said was shot.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Hussain is expected to talk to the press at 10.30am today.– May 17, 2024.
