A FIRE on the tracks near the PWTC Light Rail Transit station led to a temporary disruption of the Ampang-Sri Petaling line service today, said Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail).
The company said it had deployed an engineering team to the site to fix the problem.
"We received a report on the issue at 9.58am and an investigation showed that the issue was caused by a small fire on one of the track components.
"The Fire and Rescue Department and the police arrived at the scene at 10.15am,” it said.
Rapid Rail said it had activated alternative train services to allow passengers to continue their journey. – 4 August 2024.
