A MAN and his three sons were brought to the Kota Baru court in Kelantan this morning for a remand order to assist in the police investigation into Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB).
The NST reported that the suspects had just arrived from Johor Bahru and were believed to be members of GISB.
Yesterday, police found various books related to the banned Aurad Muhammadiah and Al-Arqam during a raid on premises linked to GISB in Gong Kulim, Pasir Puteh.
The raid involved 50 personnel from the state police, the State Islamic Affairs and Religious Department, and the State Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council.
The raiding party found various books hidden in a storeroom.
It is also understood that the premises, including the charity home, were previously occupied by more than 60 residents but have since been vacated following a police raid in Panji, Kota Baru, last Saturday. - September 25, 2024
