TODAY'S Dewan Rakyat session will focus on several key issues, including the National Remote Sensing Satellite Development Programme (PSPJN) and the motor vehicle inspection industry.
During the Ministers’ Question Time, Young Syefura Othman (PH-Bentong) will inquire about the progress of the PSPJN, which is managed by the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA).
In another session, Khairil Nizam Khirudin (PN-Jerantut) will seek clarification from the Minister of Transport on the selection criteria for three companies set to compete with PUSPAKOM in vehicle inspections, emphasizing the importance of financial stability.
Additionally, Lim Guan Eng (PH-Bagan) will ask the Minister of National Unity about the potential introduction of an Anti-Racial Discrimination Act, aimed at addressing the rise in racial incidents involving political leaders and extremists.
Datuk Idris Ahmad (PN-Bagan Serai) will question the Prime Minister on the reforms being implemented to ensure the efficient management of Lembaga Tabung Haji in the face of global economic challenges, particularly for Haj pilgrims.
On housing issues, Onn Abu Bakar (PH-Batu Pahat) will ask the Prime Minister about the potential for developing federal and DBKL land for affordable housing, as well as the plans for such initiatives.
The session will also continue with the debate on the Motion of Thanks for the Royal Address.
