A MALAYSIA woman recently took to social media to share how she had forget her iPad and left it outside a halal restaurant - and found it exactly at the same spot the next day.

According to @_intanizzaty, she was almost in tears when she realised, but the shop had closed at 10.30pm and she could not call the owners.

"When we were near the shop, my husband spotted it from far exactly where I had left it on top of the signboard outside the restaurant the night before.

"I was so thankful to see my iPad which was not even touched. There was no password as my daughter was using it," she said.

She said she was so happy and surprised that she found her iPad 12 hours after she left it.

Netizens in the comments section shared their own experiences about leaving things behind in Japan and having them either returned or finding them again at the same spot.

Some netizens shared how they had even left a bag money behind but ended up finding it again at the same spot.
