THE Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, has confirmed the arrest of a 57-year-old man, identified as Prem Esaan, who was detained in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru, at 2:30 PM on Tuesday.

"Police have confiscated the suspect's mobile phone for investigation," Tan Sri Razarudin stated.

The case is being investigated under Section 298A of the Penal Code, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
